2011 LOTUS 2-ELEVEN

A rare opportunity to acquire one of Lotus’ most focused performance cars.

The Lotus 2-Eleven is a stunning example of lightweight engineering and motorsport heritage. A true driver’s machine, the Lotus 2-Eleven was introduced in 2007 as a track-focused evolution of the Lotus Exige, engineered to deliver the ultimate in lightweight performance and pure mechanical feedback. Developed by Lotus Motorsport, the 2-Eleven took Colin Chapman’s philosophy of 'simplify, then add lightness' to the extreme.

Weighing just 670kg and boasting over 250 horsepower from its supercharged 1.8l engine, the 2-Eleven offered supercar-rivalling performance in a minimalist, race-bred package.

356 cars were built during its four year production run at the Hethel factory in Norfolk. Intended as a track only car, Lotus did offer the option to buy a 2-Eleven in a road legal specification for the UK and Japanese markets.

The 2-Eleven presented here is one of those road registered variants, having been registered in July 2011.

This example is finished in the clean Aspen White. The interior features seats in black with embroidered Lotus Sport logos and 4-point Schroth harnesses. Satin black 5-spoke wheels complete the cars exterior visuals. PPF is applied to main impact areas, including along the top of the sides of the car where driver and passenger make entry.

A gloss black rollover hoop is present, as well as the large carbon fibre rear spoiler, taken from the GT4 racer version of the 2-Eleven. A large front splitter compliments the rear spoiler for additional downforce.

Impressively, this 2-Eleven has been well used, covered 31,350 miles in its time. The car features a comprehensive service history to support its use. Having been inspected and prepared for sale by the expert technicians at Hilton & Moss, this 2-Eleven has undergone recent servicing, and a fresh MOT.

This fantastic 2-Eleven is ready for a new challenge, whether as a track day regular or simply to be enjoyed as a fast-road open sportscar.
