Words like ‘hero’ and ‘icon’ are thrown about at will where fast cars are concerned. But no one can argue about the BMW M3’s claim to either.

It brought high-performance rear-wheel-drive cars to the mainstream. It’s an ideal stepping stone between a hot hatch and a bona fide sports car, wrapping qualities of each in a body that can slip seamlessly into traffic without warranting undue attention.

The car you see here, though, is the only one to use eight cylinders. Sold between 2007 and 2013, the E90-series of M3 used a highly strung V8 engine. This particular one being modestly upgraded with carbon fibre with an array of high-end additions as well as extra tuning.

The car started as a 2012 facelift with the Competition pack making it lowered from factory and having the EDC suspension option and DCT gearbox.

The engine absolutely and totally makes this car. It’s a very sweet high revving naturally aspirated V8 – it red lines at 8,400RPM. And with the autoworke system sounds incredible.

This particular M3 benefits from a Afe Magnum force stage 2 elite pro 5R induction, Active Autowerke Signature X pipe with GESI Ultra High Flow Cats finished with AC schnitzer back boxes as well as GTS gearbox software upgrade and unlimited mapping from ESS in America bringing the power of the car from the factory 414bhp and 295lb-ft to 471bhp and 363 lb-ft of power.

The interior benefits from a full logic 7 surround sound speaker system, full black Nivolo leather trimming, upgraded genuine BMW carbon fibre interior trims all around, upgraded under seat subwoofers, upgraded sports shifter paddles and led lights throughout making it unique in the cabin.

Externally its had carbon fibre skirts added, a carbon rear splitter along with custom front splitter from Dizell subtly improving the look and further improving the handling from the factory spec as well as sitting on 20” light weight alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin SuperSport low-profile tyres that fill the arches of the car. All of this along with the standard carbon roof, window tinting and a professional stage 3 detail and ceramic coating with Gtechniq crystal syrum +Exo finishes the white pearl paint off, making it really stand out from the crowd of standard M3’s on the market.

This car won’t fail to disappoint and with only 2 previous owners and a mere 57k miles on the clock quite simply put its one of a kind, which will turn heads wherever it goes. it really must be seen to fully appreciate how spotless this car is.

the only reason for sale is to consolidate a recent house build and its just not getting used like it used to and its just sad to see it sat under the cover and not being enjoyed.
