Finished in the factory colour combination of 180G silver grey metallic over 387H blue metallic with parchment cream tex interior and navy carpets.

The extensive history file indicates that it was supplied new by Eyebury Motors Mercedes main agent of Eye, Cambridgeshire to a Mrs Marianne Estes of Glotton, Cambridgeshire on 22nd February 1972 and has an unbroken provenance since. There are registration documents on file right back to the original green log book. The original service booklet contains stamps by Mercedes agents and specialists dating back to the first service at Eyebury Motors in 1972. There are service invoices on file back to 1974 and MOT's on file dating back to its first one in 1975!

The most recent owner purchased this Mercedes from ourselves last year and has enjoyed it for over 3,000 miles. A somewhat fastidious gentleman, he took the car to Paul Sumner (ex- Roger Edwards and Mercedes supremo) and had the suspension removed and completely overhauled. This included powder coating the main elements, while replacing many components with new items. This was carried out with the goal of making the car drive and ride as close to new as possible. The expenditure didn't stop there, he had a period Becker Mexico installed, fitted a new old stock white steering wheel, 4 new M-B hubcaps and fitted a set of Coco Mats. Needles to say we are delighted to have her back in stock again.

Only 5 former register keepers from new and presented in remarkably original condition. Comes complete with toolkit, first aid kit, maintenance booklet, all handbooks, even the original Eyebury Motors tax disc holder is still present. An exceptionally well preserved example.
