Introduced in 1980, the Porsche 928 'S' represented a significant evolution of Porsche's innovative V8 'grand tourer' transforming the slightly underwhelming original 928 into a 300bhp Autobahn cruiser

The "S" package completely revamped the naturally-aspirated aluminium V8 powertrain, now 4.7-litres producing approximately 300bhp and driving the rear wheels through the desirable dog-leg, five-speed manual gearbox

This example was first registered in 1980 and remained within the same family ownership from new until being acquired by our vendor, a longstanding family friend

We understand the 928 saw very limited use following the passing of its original owner and was recommissioned in 2021, with works including replacement of the fuel pump relay, starter motor, window and door relays, together with a full fluid change, before subsequently being dry stored
