My BMW E92 M3

After 13 years of ownership it is with great sadness that I am selling my cherished July 2013 built and registered BMW E92 M3.

I acquired this car from BMW North Oxford after it had been a management car for a short period. My previous car being an E61 M5, I wanted a better handling performance car and my search was for one of the last V8 models produced understanding that the naturally aspirated raw power of the V8 will always be in demand. My intention was always to keep this car well into my retirement.

This car was used as my daily transport until I retired in 2021 and has been a weekend car since then. It has the BMW service history and is regularly cleaned and maintained. I have driven the car in anger occasionally but never before the engine reached the correct operating temperature. I have always run the car on 98 octane fuel with an occasional 95 when I was unable to get the prescribed 98. It has not been ‘ragged’ or experienced ‘donuts’. It is in good operating order and if anything ever needed doing it was done, luckily my office was next door to the BMW dealership in Cambridge and so there was never a problem with getting a suitable appointment. I have invoices on file for all work and a fully stamped BMW service book.

The car has not had the big end bearings or actuators changed and has shown no signs of them needing to be done. I can only imagine that they would need doing if the engine had been ragged or run hard whilst cold. Something I have never done over its 114,000 miles under my steerage.

The car has never had any body damage or been involved in any accidents, there are however a few minor blemishes and marks on the body, the Fox Red interior is in like new condition apart some minor wear on the drivers right hand side bolster.

In my time with the car we have enjoyed trips to France, Monaco and Italy without any difficulties whatsoever, we did have many admiring glances as it is a rarely seen model in continental Europe.
