The S4 was launched in 1987 with smoothed-off bumpers, a larger rear spoiler, more interior equipment and a 5-litre, 32v version of the V8 engine developing 330bhp

UK-supplied and first registered on 10 March 1989, this Grand Prix White, automatic gearbox example is offered from nine years current ownership

Our vendor advises that the car was purchased in 2017 from an RAC patrol engineer and was running well at that time. It was subsequently entrusted to a Porsche specialist for servicing and investigation of an ignition coil issue before being placed into storage around the COVID period

We further understand that the aforementioned specialist passed during the COVID period and it's not known what work, if any, was completed

The vendor further advises the car that has not been started since approximately 2018/2019 and should not be started until it has been fully recommissioned. The air filter and ignition coil have been removed. The car rolls freely but is offered strictly as a non-runner and will require collection by trailer.

The odometer was indicating 135,856 miles when the most recent MOT test was carried out on 17 May 2017. As with any classic car requiring recommissioning, interested parties are strongly encouraged to inspect the vehicle in person at the auction to satisfy themselves as to its condition and the scope of any work required.
