Description
Milage: 83k (Replacement engine at 82k with an engine that had 42k from an Auto)
Colour: Seal Grey with Metropole Blue interior
After owning this car as an enthusiast for the last 5 years i think its time for a change.
Things that i have personally had done to the car during my ownership all with receipts etc. (im sure there's a load more that i cant remember right now too)
997 short Shifter
Mtec hubcentric wheel spacers with extended bolts. 15mm front and 20mm rear
Passenger side window regulator (OEM)
May/Jun 2026 - 2 new type approved cats with 4 new O2 sensors (Bosch)
Dec 2025 - Replacement engine from Porsche Heaven (Mick) who is very well respected breaker. Fitted by Porsche & Euro specialist in Dec 25. Engine was had 42k miles on it and was from an automatic so no over revs and was tested before selling. I have had the engine in the car since Dec 25 and its been a revelation compared to my old engine in terms of feel and smoothness.
New AOS, Serpentine belt and cleaned up the starter motor
Full service inc coolant and oil and filters.
April 2023 - Full suspension refresh (£2.5k); Koni Special Active shocks with H&R M030 Springs (-10mm) Also inc Track rod ends, arms, tuning forks etc.
2 front CV boots
These are in addition to the regular service items such as oil and filter/air and pollen filters etc.
March 2021 @74k - Polybelt (with A/C) - Auxiliary Drive Belt - Brake fluid change - DOT4 - Beru Coil packs x 6 - Spark Plugs 14GR 6KQU - 4 CV boots
June 2019 @71k - RHD window regulator - Investigated air bag light due to a faulty connector in the door loom -
June 2018 @69k - Alternator - Auxiliary Drive Belt
Sep 2015 @66K - Porsche Radiator L - Brake pipe, Brake Pipe Unions - Door Micro Switch
Jan 2015 @ 62k - Ignition Barrel Switch - Water Pump and Gasket - Auxiliary Drive Belt - Alternator Pulley
Also randomly at the back of the service book there is hand written notes and the date ties in with one of the service stamps and has the same hand writing. Shame there's no receipts for it though.
May 2013 @58k- Head Gaskets - Clutch - Battery - Belts
Bad bits
Its got the usual age related marks you see when you get up close but its by no means that bad
AC isnt working
Small surface rust bubbles on the sill just in front of the rear wheels
Passenger side window doesnt drop (ive always just held the unlock button to lower it upon entry of a passenger and same on locking)
Silencer will probably need replacing for the MOT in Dec unless you have a friendly MOT garage.
I think considering the above its priced fairly with some big ticket items already been replaced and will be taking the plate off the car before i sell it unless the buyer wants to add more on top for it.
