1993 TVR GRIFFITH

The first factory development & first production Griff 500 built in 93. Being the first 500, it was also used as a press car appearing in many publications & adverts. It also appeared on Top Gear driven by Tiff Needell. Afterwards it was used by John Ravenscroft for development with the Speed 6 & AJP V8 engines. Fitted with a 4.5 AJP rebuilt by Simon Wood an ex-factory engine builder with race ported heads, Carrillo steel Hbeam rods & Carillo forged pistons.We had a bespoke custom made exhaust built & it runs an Emerald ECU mapped to suit. It has Alcon 4 pot brakes, as fitted by the factory & a new hood.The chassis was body off & completely refurbed in 2016. It"s been road legal, driven & MOT’d for most of its life.The battery's been relocated to behind the seats to provide more space.The next stage in the restoration is to get the interior retrimmed & the car repainted.
