Current Owner: since 6th August 2020.

The car was first registered on the 24th March 1998. Believed to be an Audi demonstration vehicle before the 1st private owner purchased the vehicle on the 28th September 1999 with an invoice receipt for £23,600 inc VAT.

The 2nd Private owner was my neighbour who acquired the vehicle on the 30th September 2002 with an invoice receipt for £14,950 inc VAT.

The vehicle was drive regularly until 2019, when my neighbour purchased a new vehicle. I acquired the vehicle on the 6th August 2020, following my neighbours 17/18 yrs of ownership. I am currently the 4th Owner (3rd private owner).

Since acquiring the vehicle I have undergone a thorough inspection of the vehicle. Various parts of this car have been restored from the Lights through to the exterior trim.

I have been through the common fault electrical items, the common bootlid wiring has been repaired on both sides to ensure smooth operation of the electric assembly. The speedometer display has been replaced (another common fault of this era), the common electric windows/ mirror failure has been addressed.

All the original Audi paperwork is included (Service Schedule, duplicate service schedule, Owners Manual, Delta CC Sound system (including CD changer) Manual, Assistance in Europe Manual, UK Assistance and Warranty Details Manual, Audi Insurance Service Manual. in Addition to this, all Past MOTs and service receipts are also included amongst the paperwork.

The car has had a new cam belt kit and water pump installed in 2019.

The car has had a recent service.

Points to Consider:

Although this car is in excellent condition for its age, some items need minor attention;

The drivers side Recaro Sport Seat bolster has ripped its stitching whilst it was stored by my neighbour 2019 - 2020.

The interior headliner trim has had the tension strings snap again due to being sat in sunlight during 2019 - 2020.

As per the pictures the car is in excellent original condition for its age, it does have as per the picture one Dent under the rear taillight, this has been fully inspected and is showing no signs of structural damage to the vehicle main chassis structure.

Please bear in mind this is car is on its original factory paintwork which has had a 3 stage paint correction, some trim could be repainted.

The car is pending an Audi Airbag Recall (currently waiting for AUDI UK to book the vehicle in for this recall)

Reason for Sale:

I have recently been made redundant and in possession of too many vehicles currently (7) and desperately need to down size, living inside the London Congestion Zone has meant the car hasn’t been used as it incurs a daily ULEZ fee to be paid.

The car has just been issued a new MOT which expires 28th July 2027.

The car is insured currently on an agreed Classic car policy with Footman James - I have not taxed it as yet, but happy to do so for any test drives.

I will include some spares parts such as a Brand New Gates Water Pump and Cam belt Kit, a second hand power steering pump, 2 brand new Genuine Audi Headlight Washer nozzles.
