1969 TRIUMPH TR5

Few British sports cars command the same admiration as the Triumph TR5, produced for just thirteen months and widely regarded as the ultimate evolution of the Michelotti-styled TR range. Improvements include a Revington fuel pump conversion complete with associated electrical components and fittings, polybushed suspension throughout, electronic ignition with Magnecor ignition leads and a Lucas Sports coil, a new alternator, a spin-on oil filter conversion and Minilite alloy wheels fitted with Goodyear tyres.

The beautifully presented cabin is trimmed in vibrant red, providing a striking contrast to the New White coachwork. Retaining the correct black Triumph TR5 steering wheel, the interior remains faithful to the car's original specification while offering the authentic driving environment that has made these fuel-injected Triumphs so highly regarded. The overall presentation reflects the care and attention lavished on the restoration, with the quality of finish extending throughout the cockpit.
