Trophy trim brings the equipment list you would hope for: heated leather-style front seats and a heated steering wheel, a six-way electric driver's seat, a 10.25-inch touchscreen with satellite navigation and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a 7-inch digital driver's display, wireless phone charging, a 360-degree parking camera, rear privacy glass, 17-inch alloys, a two-tone roof and the twin aero rear spoiler. The upgraded MG Pilot safety suite adds adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection, lane change assist and rear cross-traffic alert. Practically, it works as a family car should. Five proper doors, a genuinely usable rear bench with good knee room courtesy of the flat floor, and a boot that extends usefully with the seats folded.
