Completed in 2024 by it’s original owner after a meticulous two and a half year build, this exceptional Hawk 289 AC Cobra is an outstanding example of one of the most respected Cobra recreations available.

Built with an emphasis on authenticity & quality it combines classic Cobra styling with proven engineering and usability.

Finished in a stunning 1960’s Jaguar Pearlescent Grey, professionally painted by Kingswell Coachworks, the car presents in virtually new condition throughout, having covered just over 800 miles since completion.

The car is fully IVA approved, UK registered and ULEZ compliant.

Power comes from a genuine 1965 Ford 289 cubic-inch (4.7-litre) V8, professionally rebuilt by renowned engine builder John Wright and dyno tested at 250bhp. Paired with a Tremec T5 five-speed manual gearbox.

The build was completed with assistance from respected Hawk specialist Phil Thompson, using Hawk's proven MGB-based chassis and suspension package, enhanced with the desirable Hawk front suspension conversion, anti-tramp bars, Panhard rod, telescopic dampers and upgraded spring packers.

Inside, the attention to detail continues with beautifully finished leather seats, restored original style “Smith” instrumentation, a wooden steering wheel & quality carpets, hood and tonneau supplied by SM Trimming.

The hood and side screens remain unused.

The boot houses a matching full size spare wheel and tyre.
