The Mercedes-Benz AMG GT Black Series

It represents the pinnacle of the first generation of the AMG GT and consistently applies the experience gained from international GT3 motorsport to a road-legal production car. As the most powerful production model with a V8 engine in the history of Mercedes-AMG, the Black Series combines uncompromising performance with sophisticated aerodynamics and state-of-the-art chassis technology. Developed to meet the highest demands on the racetrack, it also continues the tradition of the exclusive Black Series models, which stand for maximum driving dynamics and consistent lightweight construction. At the heart of the car is the completely newly developed 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine with a flat-plane crankshaft. Thanks to the modified crankshaft design, repositioned turbochargers, larger intercoolers and numerous other optimisations, the engine delivers 730 PS and develops a maximum torque of 800 Nm. Power is transmitted to the rear axle via an AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 7G dual-clutch transmission, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 325 km/h.

Visually, the AMG GT Black Series stands out clearly from all other variants in the range. The front end, featuring the distinctive AMG Panamericana radiator grille, large air intakes and a completely newly developed carbon-fibre bonnet, optimises airflow and downforce. The aerodynamic concept is complemented by an adjustable front splitter, a large-area diffuser and the striking two-piece rear wing with an actively adjustable aero element. Together, these components generate considerable downforce at high speeds and give the car exceptional driving stability. Mercedes-AMG achieves consistent lightweight construction through the extensive use of carbon fibre. The bonnet, roof, wings, tailgate, drive shaft and numerous other components are made of carbon fibre. These measures are complemented by an adjustable coilover suspension, active aerodynamics, high-performance ceramic brakes and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tyres, which were developed specifically for the Black Series. With its uncompromising design, the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series ranks among the most exceptional high-performance sports cars of its time. Its combination of motorsport technology, extreme performance and comparatively low production numbers already makes it one of the most sought-after modern collector’s cars from Affalterbach.

About the vehicle on offer here

This is one of the first AMG GT Black Series models. It was manufactured at the end of 2020 and first registered on 5 January 2021. The first and, to date, sole owner, who is based in Stuttgart, had a comprehensive XPEL stone-chip protection film applied at an early stage to provide optimum protection for the factory-fitted designo Selenite Grey Magno paintwork. Although he only drove the Black Series occasionally, all servicing was carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines at the Mercedes-Benz dealership in Stuttgart. This resulted in service records for the years 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026. Furthermore, the Mercedes enthusiast never drove the AMG on a racetrack, a fact underlined by its excellent condition.
