EXTERIOR

Rosso Corsa is an entirely fitting choice for the 599 GTO, connecting the car with generations of Ferrari competition machinery. Its gloss Grigio livery adds definition, with fine Rosso and silver detailing following the sculpted bodywork.

Presented in excellent condition throughout, the paintwork retains exceptional depth and a consistent gloss across the bonnet, flanks and rear bodywork.

It is remarkable that a front-engined V12 GT can feel perfectly at home on the road and remain comfortable enough for regular use yet lap Fiorano faster than an Enzo—sure-fire proof that it deserves every letter of the iconic GTO badge.

INTERIOR

The cabin is beautifully appointed and fit for both GT cruising and track use. Cuoio leather covers the lower dashboard, centre tunnel and headlining while lashings of carbon fibre cover the dash, door cards and centre console.

The optional full electric seats are a hugely desirable option that aesthetically look just perfect in this mighty GTO. While adding further support with adjustable bolsters, there is also a further nod to comfort with seat heating and electric adjustability.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

Lift the bonnet and the red intake manifolds and cam covers frame a proudly displayed GTO badge, leaving no doubt that this is something far removed from the standard 599.

Part of Ferrari’s Enzo-derived F140 engine family and further developed through the 599XX programme, the naturally aspirated V12 delivers the sharp intake note and hard-edged exhaust sound expected of Maranello’s most focused machinery. Building in intensity as the revs rise, it produces a soundtrack that deserves to be remembered among Ferrari’s finest.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES

The lightweight Challenge wheels look superb in Anthracite Grey, their traditional Giallo centre caps providing a vivid finishing touch. Still in excellent condition and shod with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres, these GTO-specific alloys carry wide 265-section fronts and mighty 315-section rears.

The braking system pairs bright Rosso Corsa calipers with huge carbon-ceramic discs and dedicated cooling ducts, resulting in exceptionally short stopping distances.

HISTORY FILE

Supplied new by Dick Lovett Ferrari in April 2011, this 599 GTO has been used sparingly and dry stored throughout its life, covering just 8k miles from new.

The service book contains an impressive 13 stamps, demonstrating a consistent level of care rarely seen on such a low-mileage example.
