The Sport 350 arrived in 2016 as a sharper, lighter evolution of the Exige S. Lotus stripped out 51kg through a louvred tailgate, lighter engine mounts, a lighter battery, slimmer ventilation pipework and a lighter centre console, leaving a car of just 1,125kg with a 350 PS, 400Nm supercharged 3.5 litre V6 mounted just behind the occupants. The result is 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds, 170 mph flat out, and a lap of Hethel 2.5 seconds faster than its predecessor, the first Lotus to go under 1 minute 30 seconds on the test track. The open-gate gearshift is the star of the cabin: the exposed aluminium linkage moves and clicks with every change, adding a mechanical theatre no paddle-shift car can match. It is pace with real feel, from the steering to the damping to the chassis, and it rewards the driver on every road.

This car’s history reads exactly as you would hope. Oakmere Lotus carried out the initial after-sales service at 534 miles in February 2020, the first annual service at 5,433 miles in November 2020 and a further service at 6,098 miles in May 2022. Lotus Silverstone then serviced it at 7,574 miles in May 2023 and carried out a C service at 8,779 miles in June 2024, including spark plugs, coolant change, transmission oil change and auxiliary belt replacement. We completed an A service plus brake fluid change at 9,426 miles in June 2025 and, most recently, a B service at 10,816 miles in October 2026.
