Introduced in 1949, the TD represented a significant evolution of MG's T-Series, combining traditional styling with independent double-wishbone front suspension, rack and pinion steering and twin leading-shoe front brakes

Powered by MG's proven 1,250cc XPAG four-cylinder engine, driving the rear wheels through a four-speed manual gearbox

First registered in 1952 and, like the majority of TD production, originally supplied to the United States in left-hand drive, before returning to the UK in 2016

Finished in Old English White with well-presented chrome, a cream hood and contrasting tan leather interior

Currently riding on chrome wire wheels with splined hubs, an attractive modification as wire wheels were not originally offered on the TD and are believed to be of the type subsequently fitted to the TF

The traditional T-Series cabin features white-faced Jaeger instrumentation, Bakelite switchgear and a wood-rimmed steering wheel

Further period-style additions include a badge bar, additional mirrors and a fitted spare wheel cover, completing the TD's appealing sporting appearance
