Description

Here we have a purpose built, Healey 3000 FIA race car. Built from scratch 3 years ago and having done just over 12 hours running since, every element of this car is brand new, other than the donor bulkhead and chassis plate.

The engine is a David Smithies built full race specification unit fitted with Arrow crank and rods, high compression forged pistons, race camshaft, alloy sump & alloy full race cylinder head.

Carburation is from triple Weber 45 DCOE’s. The exhaust is a Jeremy Welch full race system.

The gearbox is the later & stronger centre change model with straight cut, close ratio Sebring ratio gears & a competition overdrive. A correct type LSD is fitted along with strengthened race spec. half shafts.

The specification also includes:

· Built to full FIA specification.

· Disc brakes on all four corners.

· Dual circuit balance bar brake system with new Tilton master cylinders

· High ratio steering box with safety column.

· Magnesium Minilite wheels & Pre-63 spec wire wheels
