1999 TVR CHIMAERA

Here for sale is my 1999 T reg TVR Chimaera 450 in Imperial Blue with Magnolia hide.

I’ve owned the car since Aug 2023 covering around 5,000 dry weather miles, 2,000 of which were from a recently completed Euro trip to the Italian Alps for which the car performed brilliantly with no issues!

Car is always garaged on a trickle charger. I have both keys and fobs, original handbook and a 2 inch thick folder full of history prior to my ownership. MOT until end of June 2027. Genuine reason for sale.

Key details from previous ownership:

Chassis was fully replaced in 2013 and remains in excellent condition.

Engine cam replaced at 50k miles.

Seats professionally restored in Aug 2020.

I have a full record of all servicing and work carried out in my ownership – summary of the main items as follows:

Nov 23: Fuel lines replaced, Steering rack seals and gaitors replaced

Dec 23: Engine and gearbox mounts, Clive F de-cat y pipe, exhaust manifold gaskets, power steering pump and hoses replaced

Mar 24: ACT “cherry bomb” exhaust fitted, front and rear ARB drop links, 4 x Uniroyal tyres fitted.

Jun 24: Central locking relay.

Mar 25: Blue silicon coolant hoses kit, new coil and amp

Aug 25: Front end re-spray.

6k spent in total.

Car genuinely runs extremely smoothly with the hot start issue all previously resolved and manual cooling fan override switch also fitted.

If you’re looking for a good 450 and in my opinion the best colour combo(!) you won’t go far wrong with this.
