Overview

The E63 M6 is one of the last of a breed we won't see again. Its 5.0-litre S85 V10 spins beyond 8,000rpm, sends 507bhp to the rear wheels and sounds glorious at full tilt. This was a naturally aspirated M engine built with no eye on downsizing, and time has only made it more special.

This particular car wears Silverstone metallic, a shade that shifts between silver and blue in the light and sits beautifully over the coupe's exposed carbon fibre roof panel. It's a genuinely handsome way to carry one of BMW M's great powerplants, and in the metal it presents as a well-kept, clearly cherished example.

Underneath the paint sits an S85 V10 backed by the seven-speed SMG gearbox, hydraulic-assisted steering and a limited-slip differential, the recipe that made these cars so revered among PHers. In current ownership since May 2022, it’s accompanied by a healthy folder of paperwork. It's a proper enthusiast's M6, ready to be driven and enjoyed.

Summary

This is a smartly presented E63 M6 in a genuinely special colour, pairing one of BMW M's finest naturally aspirated engines with an exposed carbon roof and a well-presented black leather cabin. It rides on factory 19-inch alloys wearing Michelin Pilot Sport rubber (always a good sign), and it's backed by a stamped service book from new and a thick invoice file covering the important V10 maintenance and pointing to a car that's ready to be driven and enjoyed. We think it's a lovely example of a modern M car legend.
