NEW ARRIVAL - RARE PORSCHE 911 (997) TARGA 4S TIPTRONIC S WITH ONLY 53K MILES & FSH Supplied new by the Porsche Centre in Reading and first registered on 10th May 2008, this lovely and rare Porsche 911 (997) Targa 4S Tiptronic S is finished in Atlas Grey Metallic with a full Black Leather interior and has a very high specification with over £10,000 of optional extras when new - see the full specification in the documents section below. It has only had 2 Former Keepers with the current owner of 11 years having bought the car from the Porsche Centre in Guildford in April 2015, and it has now covered 53,815 Miles from new with a Full and comprehensive Service History with 10 stamps in the service book - 3 from the Porsche Centre in Guildford and 7 from Porsche specialist Charles Ivey in Surbiton. This car has been regularly serviced and maintained by Charles Ivey during his ownership and it has had many new components replaced over the last couple of years including a new Power Steering Rack, 4 new Tyres, Steering Track Rods and at the time of the last MOT in June 2026, they also replaced the Tiptronic Gearbox oil and filter. It has also had the Targa roof mechanism serviced and all drain holes regularly cleaned, so there are no leaks! Upon arrival with us, we had Porsche specialist No5 Garage check over the car and they have replaced both front Wishbones and forward arms, replaced both Exhaust sleeve bolts and checked for any Bore Score issues, and it has been given a clean bill of health. Prices are holding firm on these 997 Targa's and are destined to increase according to many Porsche enthusiasts due to their rarity, and although Porsche has never published an official global production breakdown for the Right-Hand Drive 997.1 Targa 4S, sources quote that only 1,426 were built worldwide in 2008, with only a small handful being UK RHD examples. The number Plate F7 RGA (TARGA) is available with the car for a small premium, otherwise it will revert to its original plate - RJ08 HJC. It is importantly ULEZ compliant!
