2026 VAUXHALL GRANDLAND ULTIMATE TRBO MHEV A

Here's this one in a nutshell, to save you reading everything if you're a little too busy:

Now, this one definitely wasnt on the shopping list this week. Its a little newer than the cars we normally buy, and sensible me knows we should probably have just walked away.

But then we looked at it.

I mean come on. Look at it.

Im genuinely not sure what I like most. The Spectrum Blue paintwork is absolutely lovely different enough to stand out, without being the sort of colour that makes your neighbours wonder if you lost a bet. The styling is clean and simple but somehow manages to make the whole thing look properly expensive.

And then theres the spec.

Honestly, Vauxhall appear to have just ticked every box they could find.

Youve got sat nav, a 360-degree parking camera, touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, climate control with air conditioning, radar-guided cruise control, active lane departure warning, steering assist, heated front seats AND a heated steering wheel.

Theres loads more as well, but neither of us has got all day. At some point youve got to stop reading about it and actually come and have a look.

And it gets better.

This is a one-owner car direct from Motability, and its so new it hasnt even needed its first service yet. It also has the remainder of its Vauxhall manufacturers warranty until 2028, so theres plenty of peace of mind thrown in too.

Now, I suppose we should address the elephant in the room. The price.

Because we price our cars amongst the most competitively in the country, and occasionally that seems to make people suspicious. Which is an odd situation, isnt it? You charge too much and people complain. You charge too little and suddenly everyone thinks youre running some sort of elaborate criminal enterprise.

Whys it so cheap?

Well, perhaps the photos were taken six years ago and it currently looks like its been parked at the bottom of the North Sea. Maybe when you arrive, well explain that the advertised price is actually just for the front half, and the boot, wheels and steering wheel are part of our Premium Car Completion Package. Or maybe and stay with me here because this is going to sound absolutely mental we just sell cars for good prices.

Were a small family business. We own our own site. Our overheads are tiny compared with some of the massive dealerships we compete against, so rather than adding that saving onto the price of the car so we can drive around in Bentleys and spend February in the Bahamas we pass it on to you.

I know.

Disgusting business practice.

So, theres no sinister catch, no mysterious extras and no bloke appearing from behind a curtain halfway through the deal to tell you the advertised price didnt include the engine.

Its just a fantastic, nearly-new, one-owner car, absolutely loaded with equipment, still under manufacturers warranty, for a price that makes you wonder why everyone else is charging so much.

Because apparently, were just that nice.
