1990 Porsche 911 (964) Carrera 2, manual gearbox

143k miles, engine rebuild with full mechanical and body restoration and respray.

A beautiful example of the 964 Carrera 2 Coupe, finished in Grand Prix White paintwork with black interior. It is a UK supplied, manual transmission car having covered 143K miles from new and is presented in fabulous condition throughout, with a meticulously documented 2-inch thick fully stamped service history with some tasteful mechanical upgrades.

Originally delivered in 1990, this 964 has had seven owners from new and has been cherished throughout its life. The service history is phenomenal and extensively documented with supporting invoices in the file. That’s £50K’s worth of maintenance, service and restoration invoices with £26K of that by the current owner who has owned this for 16 years and has covered just 13K miles in that time.

The service, maintenance and restoration history is a mix of Porsche and Specialist throughout. The highlights are:

a top end engine rebuild was completed by RPM Technik in 2008 at 113K miles.

full glass out, wings/doors off body restoration and respray in 2015. All the lights, body seals, bumper brackets, rubbers and a huge list of genuine Porsche parts were replaced at this time.

A period genuine Porsche ‘Cup’ exhaust primary bypass pipe was fitted in 2018 for a lovely throaty roar on acceleration

More recently, in 2023, the suspension was upgraded to new Bilstein coilovers and Eibach springs along with a new ‘Big Red Turbo’ 4-pot vented front brake kit, refreshed steering, new 17” Cup wheels and new Michelin PS4 tyres.

Cosmetically the car is lovely having been subject the above restoration and the bodywork has been maintained to this high standard ever since. The interior is also very clean and close to unmarked, with the original upholstery presenting beautifully. A stunning Momo Prototipo steering wheel is fitted along with an upgraded high-end audio package while maintaining the OEM look: classic Becker Grand Prix head unit, JL Audio amplifier, JL Audio front and rear component speakers.
