Just fully painted in original “b62 titanium”

Bought in December of 2022 from Jon Seal, the car was sold as a bit of a project. During my ownership the car has had the following list of parts fitted;

Nitron coilovers.

Piper manifold

Elise parts exhaust.

Elise parts rear toe links

Elise parts shifter linkage

Elise parts front Spal rad fan upgrade

Elise parts silicone rad hoses.

Elise parts diffuser

Elise parts stainless grill (in black)

New brake master cylinder

New discs and pads

New genuine Lotus bonnet badge

New ball joints and drop links

New water pump and cambelt

New ignition module.

Brand new Elise parts hood in red (fitted today)

New windscreen.

New PPF to sills.

Red leather seats

Pioneer stereo.

We have used the Lotus on track and has been fully aligned and drives superbly. The car has been garaged since we owned it, and has had any maintenance it’s ever needed.

The main reason for sale is the lack of use. Both my wife and I race MX5’s and as such no longer have the time to use the lotus, nor take it to track.

We decided to have it painted as the car was beginning to look a bit tired, which didn’t compliment its mechanical status. Same for the new mohair hood.

Obviously being a 28 years old there are unfortunately some minor negatives.

Negatives.

AD08R’s have plenty of tread but are 10 years old.

Red leather seats would benefit some attention on the drivers bolster.

Steering wheel leather is showing wear.

Will come with fresh MOT and service.

Full “Car Vertical” check already paid for and available on request.

We will be very sad to see the car go, but will enjoy the prospect of a new owner enjoying the car as it deserves.
