2017 PORSCHE macan

For sale we have my Macan GTS that I purchased earlier this yea from Porsche specialist Harbour Cars. The reason for sale is simply that, after owning my first SUV, I’ve realised that my preference still lies with fast saloons and more focused sports cars. The Macan has been a great introduction to Porsche ownership and was always intended as a stepping stone while I worked towards something more special. The long-term plan is a Cayman GT4, so rather than keep tying up this much money in a daily, I’ve decided to move into something cheaper for the time being and continue saving towards the GT4.

Importantly for these, the transfer case was replaced by Porsche in December 2023 at approximately 28, 300 miles. The PDK gearbox was serviced at approximately 33, 000 miles, while the spark plugs were replaced as part of the most recent Porsche major service. Next service is Minor due July 27.

Recent preventative maintenance includes an engine oil and filter service, transfer case oil change with adaptations, rear differential oil change, engine air filters and cabin filter, plus a new battery, using genuine Porsche items. The car has also undergone a comprehensive underbody and drivetrain inspection by Porsche specialist ePorsch while above work was carried out, with no leaks or worn components identified.

It has recently been fitted with four Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres, followed by a full four-wheel alignment. As you can see this represents significant recent expenditure and means there are no immediate tyre or routine maintenance costs for the next owner to account for. It should easily pass Porsche inspection for extended warranty if desired.

Currently on around 42, 800 miles, the car presents extremely well and combines a fantastic colour combination, excellent factory specification, low mileage for the year and comprehensive history, with a substantial amount of recent preventative maintenance already completed.

A very well cared-for Gen 1 GTS and a particularly attractive example for anyone looking for the right combination of specification, provenance and condition.
