Description
EXCEPTIONAL Tuscan Mk1 in Pearlescent Red. RACING GREEN FFF 400bhp conversion with a FRESH £10K PYTHON RACING ENGINE REBUILD (only 750 miles ago). 10-year enthusiast ownership, dry-weather used only, SUPERB ORIGINAL CHASSIS, full history.
If you are looking for a genuinely special TVR Tuscan, this is a car that deserves serious consideration.
Owned for the past decade by a passionate car enthusiast, this Tuscan has been maintained with a "no expense spared" approach and has benefited from many thousands of pounds of investment. It has covered only around 750 miles in the last 18 months and is now simply not being used enough, meaning the opportunity has arisen for another enthusiast to enjoy what must surely be one of the finest examples available.
This is not a car that has simply been preserved — it has been continually improved, refreshed and maintained with the mindset of someone who loves his cars with a passion.
Finished in stunning Pearlescent Red with a beautifully contrasting Light Grey leather interior, black carpets and TVR’s exquisite brass dash switchgear, this Tuscan captures everything that makes these cars so unique. The hand-finished cabin, distinctive instrumentation and tactile controls create an interior experience unlike anything else.

ENGINE & DRIVETRAIN
The car benefits from the highly regarded FFF 4.0-litre conversion, carried out by Racing Green in 2012 at a cost of £16,287. Since then it has covered approximately 30,000 miles.
Although the engine was running well, being a perfectionist I detected the earliest signs of top-end wear. As someone who has raced and prepared cars for many years, I prefer to address potential issues before they become major ones.
The engine was therefore inspected by Python Racing and, with some bore wear evident once dismantled, I chose to commission a full rebuild with the latest uprated valves and springs rather than a partial repair. Completed only 750 miles ago at a cost of £10,356, the work also included a new clutch together with new clutch master and slave cylinders.
The result is a beautifully smooth, strong and confidence-inspiring Speed Six, giving the next owner the reassurance of a freshly rebuilt engine by one of the UK's leading TVR specialists.
CONDITION & CHASSIS
This Tuscan has always been treated as a cherished enthusiast's car. It is never driven in wet weather, is always carefully stored and has been maintained to an exceptionally high standard throughout my ownership.
The original chassis and outriggers remain in superb, solid condition. Detailed chassis photographs are available for inspection.
The paintwork, interior and engine bay all present beautifully and reflect the care the car has received over many years.
PROVENANCE & HISTORY
The car has been maintained throughout by recognised TVR specialists and is accompanied by an extensive history file.
Available are invoices documenting the Racing Green FFF conversion, the recent Python Racing rebuild, specialist servicing records, maintenance invoices and chassis photographs, providing complete confidence for the next owner.

SUMMARY
The TVR Tuscan remains one of the most distinctive and characterful British sports cars ever built. Finding an early Mk1 that combines exceptional cosmetic condition with documented specialist mechanical investment is becoming increasingly difficult.
This is a rare opportunity to acquire a beautifully presented, comprehensively maintained Tuscan that has already benefited from the expenditure and specialist attention these cars deserve. With its Racing Green FFF conversion, recent Python Racing rebuild, superb original chassis, extensive history file and careful enthusiast ownership, it is a car that is ready to be driven and enjoyed.
Serious enquiries are welcomed from fellow enthusiasts. Inspection is encouraged, and I will be delighted to discuss the car and its history in detail with genuine prospective purchasers.
