Always been told you’re too tall for a car like this? Not this one.

I have meticulously improved this car in many areas and have an extensive folder of receipts from reputable specialists showing the extent of the investment. Please go through the spec list carefully to understand what is on offer here as I have receipts exceeding £10k’s worth of improvements over the last 18 months.

Notably, due to my own height, I have adapted the car to accommodate drivers up to 6ft 7in — though it remains perfectly comfortable for “normal-sized” drivers too. If you’ve always assumed you were too tall for a toy like this, think again. These adaptations include lowering the floor and fabricating custom brackets that let the bucket seats move further back and down. The steering column has been lengthened, the OMP pedal box has been moved further down the tunnel to allow for longer legs, and the new roll bar is taller, ensuring the driver isn’t the highest point in the car — even in a helmet.

If you’re after a summer fun car that has been thoroughly refreshed, this is it. A good example is the full professional respray carried out in May this year: the car was painted in a BMW body shop in BMW Valencia Orange Metallic with gloss black arches, and once complete the new paintwork was treated with a two-stage protection process so it stays looking lovely for years to come. I’ll include photos showing the process and the resulting transformation.

The car is garaged when not in use (again shown in the photos) and never sees the wet. I’ve enjoyed two amazing summers with it, covering around 3,000 miles a year during my ownership.

Safety is naturally a consideration in cars like these, which is why it was fitted this year with a brand-new chassis-mounted roll bar with additional supports.

The sound of the twin 45s is addictive, the grip of the R888Rs will exceed your bravery, and the smiles and thumbs-up from other people never get old.

Included with the car: a full car cover, spare parts, three steering wheels of differing diameters (depending on your preference), and many other parts and accessories. I’ve always run it on Shell V-Power (Optimax), though I don’t believe that’s essential.

I run a GoPro 360 mounted to the roll bar, so if a serious buyer would like to see footage of the car in action, that can be arranged.
