Offered for sale is my 1993 Porsche 928 GTS, a UK right-hand-drive automatic example finished in Midnight Blue with a Light Grey leather interior.

The GTS represents the final and most developed version of the 928, with its 5.4-litre V8, wider rear bodywork and distinctive 17-inch wheels. Good, original RHD examples are increasingly difficult to find, and this car presents extremely well for its age and mileage.

I purchased the car around 12 months ago, somewhat on impulse, and have thoroughly enjoyed owning it. However, with several other cars it simply isn't getting the use it deserves, which is the reason I have decided to sell.

The overall condition of the car is excellent.

The Midnight Blue paintwork remains bright and presents extremely well. The car underwent bodywork improvements in 2019 to bring the paintwork back to a high standard, and this has clearly been worthwhile. There are the minor imperfections one should expect on a car of this age, including a small scuff to the driver's door mirror, but overall it is a very impressive-looking example.

The refurbished GTS wheels present extremely well and suit the car perfectly.

Inside, the Light Grey leather seats are in very good condition, as are the dashboard and interior trim, with no significant marks or damage.

The Light Grey carpets show some age-related wear but are protected by overmats, and a spare set of overmats is also included. All of the electrical equipment is working as it should.

One of the strongest aspects of this car is its history.

It comes with full service history and an extensive collection of records and invoices documenting maintenance and expenditure over the years.

Most recently, the car was entrusted to Barr-Tech Porsche specialist in Cambridge for a major service and associated work.

This included a brake fluid change together with extensive work to the inlet and outlet manifolds to improve emissions and ensure the car was properly prepared for its MOT.

The resulting bill was approximately £4,500.

This recent expenditure provides considerable reassurance for the next owner and demonstrates that the car has continued to receive the attention appropriate for a 928 GTS rather than simply being maintained to a minimum standard.

The history files contain extensive evidence of previous maintenance and work carried out throughout the car's life and will naturally be available for inspection by prospective buyers.

The car has a current MOT until July 2027 with no advisories.

Current mileage is approximately 118,100 miles.

While this is not a low-mileage example, I believe the condition, extensive documented history and recent specialist expenditure are considerably more relevant when considering a 33-year-old Porsche of this complexity.

Summary

This is a very attractive, highly usable example of one of Porsche's great V8 grand tourers.

The combination of Midnight Blue over Light Grey leather works particularly well, and the car presents to a standard that belies its mileage.

Importantly, it also benefits from extensive documented history, substantial recent expenditure with a recognised Porsche specialist and a clean, advisory-free MOT through to July 2027.

It isn't being presented as a concours or ultra-low-mileage museum example. Instead, it is an excellent, substantially original and properly maintained 928 GTS that can be used and enjoyed without the premium associated with the very lowest-mileage cars.

I am selling simply because I own other cars and have not been able to give the 928 sufficient use to justify keeping it.
