1999 Aston Martin

A factory original V600, commission built at the end of the famed Vantage production run and delivered in June 1999 to its first owner a former principal Aston Martin shareholder, in Switzerland. Uniquely finished in Rolls Royce Brewster Green with special order Olive Green Connolly hides. This uniquely finished example of the mighty Vantage V600, has now completed just 18,400 kilometres from new and is the only Vantage built in this highly attractive colour combination.

Uprated to full factory V600 specifications by Aston Martin when new, transformed immediately after production and before delivery, to its first collector owner. Other options specified when new and itemised on the build particulars, included all instrument facias and interior finishers manufactured in a machine turned aluminium finish and the roof headlining, completed in ribbed Olive Green Connolly hide.

The phenomenal V600 upgrade package, applied to this example when new, includes the engine upgraded to produce 600 bhp and 600 ft-lbs of torque, powering the car to a top speed of 200 mph with 0-60 mph time of under 4 seconds. The most powerful front engined GT of the day, other V600 upgrades fitted include revised road springs and uprated Bilstein dampers, improved front anti-roll bar and optimised front suspension geometry. Suitably, AP racing derived brakes replaced the originals and light weight Dymag magnesium alloy wheels fitted. To this day the V600, frequently referred to as the ultimate ‘Brute in a Suit’, remains an exceptional driving experience which, with its torque tube transmission, extensive amounts of sound insulation and the models 8-way Recaro electric heated seats fitted, provides a superb level of comfort and refinement, highly appreciated when touring.

Specially commissioned by a VIP owner when new, this low mileage Left Hand Drive V8 Vantage V600, the penultimate LHD car off the production line, has an excellent and extensive service record, having been maintained by the Aston Martin Works and R S Williams Ltd in the UK and by Aston Martin Heritage - Roos Engineering and Rene Wagner - Fast Line AM specialists in Switzerland, for its previous collector owners.

Maintenance invoices and service stamps contained within the history file and handbook, confirm the very low mileage of just 18,400 Kilometres, to have been covered from new.

A supercar, in a super colour combination, with super low mileage and in a super condition. A rare car to find today, only 37 LHD V600 Vantages are recorded to have been built and no others, finished in this highly evocative and luxurious colour combination.

Included within the sale, is our usual high levels of vehicle preparation and a manufacturer scheduled vehicle service to date. The substantial leather-bound history file accompanying the car, includes a copy of the manufacturers build data sheet, all previous maintenance invoices and current registration papers.
