Lotus Elise 111S Rover VVC K-Series

I'm the third owner of the car, the previous owner had it for 18 years and had bought it from a close family member.

Recent MOT 14th July, with no advisories

There is the usual stone chips on the sills, and some small ones on the front, but the bodywork has no visible cracks and there is no paint blistering.

There is a scratch on the drivers door

I know the stone chips aren't ideal, but the way I looked at it, they prove the car has never been re-painted, so as there is no damage to the bodywork, this proves the car has never been crashed.

The chassis underneath is immaculate! No corrosion and all straight and true.

The wheels are in perfect condition and the brake discs are recent too.

The front springs and dampers were replaced with new bilsteins in 2024

The soft top is watertight and in perfect condition

The hardtop is included, the paintwork is great, but the headlining needs glueing back.

Probax seats with the lower back inflateable support.

No oil or coolant loss

Usual ticking noise from VVC mechanisms, but all operating correctly, very smooth power delivery.

Official Lotus stainless steel sports exhaust has been fitted, with stainless cat & flexi.

Recent replacement of gear linkage bushes

To sum up, the stonechips let it down, aside from that the car is spot on.
