However, Ive personally been driving the car for the last couple of days and its genuinely surprised me. It drives really, really well for its age and mileage. The 2.1 CDI diesel pulls well, the automatic gearbox drives nicely and its a comfortable, economical old Mercedes out on the road. After using it myself for a couple of days, Im happy enough with the car to retail it and feel confident that itll make someone a cracking cheap car and hopefully see them out for the next couple of years. The main cosmetic downside is one of the wheel arches is a little crusty and has previously been touched in. Its not rotten to the point where you can poke your finger through it, but its there, and Id rather tell you before you come and see it.
