Three keepers from new, HPI clear and a genuinely local Surrey car, this 2012 MINI Cooper S Convertible was originally supplied by Cooper Tadworth, Surrey, and has remained in the county throughout its life. It was later resold as an Approved Used MINI by Cooper Thames Ditton in 2017, before being purchased by the most recent owner from West Horsley Motors in 2020. We acquired the car directly from that local owner. It is supported by a substantial maintenance file, with much of its care carried out by MINI/BMW main dealers including Cooper Thames Ditton and Berry BMW Cobham, together with recognised specialists. The service history is strong, with seven recorded service events and the most recent completed at 60,162 miles on 23 July 2025. More importantly on an R57 Cooper S of this age, there is evidence of meaningful preventative and age-related maintenance. The timing chain and auxiliary belt were replaced in 2025, followed in 2026 by further work including the water pump, friction wheel and timing chain pulley. Rear brake discs were replaced in 2024 and a brake fluid service completed in July 2025. The MOT runs until 10 February 2027, with only limited advisories recorded and rectified. A matching set of Hankook tyres are fitted with good tread. This is a particularly well-specified example, with more than £10,000 of factory optional equipment. The Media Pack adds MINI Navigation, MINI Connected, full Bluetooth telephone preparation with USB audio, Bluetooth audio streaming and voice control, giving the car a far more complete infotainment system than a standard Cooper S of this generation. The electrically operated soft-top also incorporates a variable sunroof function, allowing partial opening without lowering the roof fully.
