2008 NISSAN NOTE

NISSAN NOTE TEKNA AUTOMATIC 1.6 PETROL The 2008 Nissan Note Tekna Automatic is a practical and spacious five-door hatchback that combines compact exterior dimensions with an impressively versatile interior, a high level of Tekna equipment and the convenience of an automatic gearbox. Its elevated seating position, excellent visibility and easy access make it particularly well suited to town driving, family use and anyone looking for a comfortable and straightforward automatic. The automatic version is powered by Nissan?s proven 1.6-litre petrol engine, producing approximately 110 bhp and 153 Nm of torque. This is paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission, providing smooth and uncomplicated driving without the need for manual gear changes. The 1.6-litre engine offers useful performance for everyday driving and is equally capable around town or on longer motorway journeys. The Tekna specification sits towards the top of the Note range and provides a generous level of equipment. Exterior features typically include alloy wheels, front fog lights, electrically adjustable door mirrors, body-coloured exterior trim and privacy glass, giving the Note a smarter appearance than the more basic models.Inside, the Note makes excellent use of its available space. The relatively high roofline creates generous headroom, while the elevated seating position makes getting in and out particularly easy. Tekna models typically benefit from features including climate control, cruise control, electric windows, remote central locking, multifunction steering wheel and an upgraded audio system, with equipment varying slightly according to the individual vehicle. There is comfortable seating for five passengers, with particularly impressive rear passenger space for a car with such compact exterior dimensions. The sliding rear-seat arrangement allows the owner to adjust the balance between rear legroom and luggage capacity, making the Note extremely versatile for everyday family use.Boot space is practical for shopping, pushchairs and luggage, while the rear seats can be folded when additional carrying capacity is required. The five-door layout, wide-opening doors and relatively high seating position also make fitting child seats and loading passengers considerably easier than in many conventional small hatchbacks. On the road, the 1.6-litre petrol engine and automatic gearbox provide a relaxed and easy driving experience. Light steering and compact dimensions make parking and manoeuvring straightforward, while the comfortable suspension and good visibility make the Note equally pleasant on longer journeys.Safety equipment typically includes multiple airbags, ABS with electronic brakeforce distribution, brake assistance and ISOFIX child-seat mounting points, providing a reassuring package for everyday family motoring.Overall, the 2008 Nissan Note Tekna 1.6 Automatic is a practical, comfortable and easy-to-drive small automatic offering an excellent combination of approximately 110 bhp petrol performance, automatic transmission, high Tekna specification, five-door practicality and a spacious, flexible interior.
