First registered in 1983 with just two former registered keepers. Our vendor acquired the Golf in March 1996 at 115,000 miles

Powered by the fuel-injected 1.8-litre DX engine mated to a five-speed manual gearbox

Finished in Alpine White with, what is believed to be, its original black and grey cloth interior (JN Code) and still retaining its original cassette player

Used sparingly during our vendor’s ownership before being placed into dry garage storage in 2000

Subsequently recommissioned in 2015, with the work detailed in the accompanying Seller’s Report

From 2015, it was regularly serviced and MOT-tested through to August 2022, when it passed without advisories at 125,073 miles. The odometer now indicates 125,520 miles and it was most recently serviced by a Volkswagen specialist around 500 miles ago

Accompanied by its original handbook, a 1982 Golf sales brochure and price list, together with a selection of MOT certificates and invoices from current ownership
