Advertising for a customer this outstanding Ford Capri 2.8i which has undergone a full nut and bolt restoration at SM Classics Doncaster who are renowned for the quality of the work they do on Capris. The car itself was first registered in October 84 by Charles King Motors Ltd in Bedford. Its had 4 previous owners and covered 72760 miles. We have the original handbooks and operations manuals, original service book with 6 stamps, some receipts and a lot of old MOTs dating back to 1989. Its currently MOTD till Jul 2027. The exterior pictures do not do the car justice and we will try an update these when the weather gets a bit better.\n\nBody - Absolutely superb condition throughout. Body is very straight, with good panel gaps. Underneath is all painted and detailed as good as up top. The colour is called Lacquer Red and the paintwork is pretty flawless. Good bumpers and trim. I cant really fault it.\n\nMechanics- All standard and in good order. Everything was either replaced, rebuilt or refurbished as part of the restoration. Fortunes have been spent on this car and it drives lovely. Everything works as it should and there are none of the usual Capri problems. i.e the sunroof works both ways, heater works etc.\n\nInterior - Again all exactly as it should be and immaculate. No cracks on dash, original radio still fitted, Seats are superb.\n\nWheels - These have been upgraded to the 15 inch 280 wheels rather than the 13 inch ones. Again these are original items, which have been refurbished with good tyres. We also have the wheelcap key with the car.\n\nThis car has had fortunes spent. I know its not cheap but try restoring one to this standard for the asking price. It wont happen. You are welcome to come and see the car. We have a ramp so you can look underneath.
