**Honda Civic FK8 Type R – Low Mileage, Facelift Model – 16,250 Miles**

It’s with a heavy heart that I’m writing this advert. I searched all over the UK for a **genuine, cherished example of the FK8 Type R**, and eventually found this car at a Honda dealer in Yorkshire.

This FK8 has had **only 2 previous owners from new**, and it’s clear that the car has been well looked after throughout its life.

The car has currently covered just **16,250 miles from new**.

It is the **facelift (FL) version**, one of the later FK8s, which came with a number of important improvements over the earlier cars, including:

* **Cooling system improvements**

* **Upgraded two-piece floating front brake discs**, reducing unsprung weight and improving resistance to brake fade

* **Stiffer front suspension joints and bushes**

* Various other chassis and suspension refinements

### Condition & Recent Work

Since owning the car, I have spent a considerable amount of money making sure it is as close to perfect as possible.

* **2 brand-new genuine Honda alloy wheels**, purchased directly from Honda (at a staggering cost per wheel!)

* **New Honda centre caps**

* **Brand-new genuine Honda gear knob** – the original had some marks from a previous owner and I wanted it looking like new

* **Brand-new wiper blades all around**

* The car has wanted for absolutely nothing during my ownership

It also has a **full Honda main dealer service history**.

The next service is due, and this **will be completed by Honda before the car is sold**, so the new owner will have nothing to worry about.

The car comes with:

* **FK8 private registration plate**

* **Miltek cat-back exhaust**

If the new owner doesn’t want the private plate or the Miltek exhaust, I may be able to reduce the price **slightly**.

I’m **not looking to negotiate heavily on the price**. This is a genuine, low-mileage, facelift FK8 Type R and is already priced competitively against other similar cars currently available.
