2000 ALFA ROMEO GTV

The time has come to sell my Alfa. I'll be sad to see it go after 7 years of ownership, but I need the space and as you'll see from the mileages recorded on the recent MOTs, I rarely get chance to drive it.

It's a 2000/ X Alfa GTV Lusso 3. 0 V6 24V in 612A Grigio Chiaro Met (Silver) with Black MOMO leather interior.

Reg - X834DDN (Was on personalised plate until recently L13 OLN)

Always garaged.

The previous owner spent over £6500 at Autolusso in 2017/ 18 (92-94k). List of repairs;

- Floorpan restoration

- Engine rebuild

- Cambelt kit & Water pump

Since I purchased the car 7 years ago the engine bay has been fully detailed with various repairs including remanufactured injectors, new coolant tank, stainless steel radiator bracket and stainless steel bolt set.

I replaced the 18" BBS wheels with original 17" Teledial wheels, that I had striped and powder coated. I've also fitted Continental PremiumContact 6 tyres (Covered around 3000 miles).

I also replaced the Eibach springs for original springs to restore the ride to original standard.

On the outside, I sourced one of the very last new genuine Zender Cup front bumpers in the UK (Cost £400). As well as some used genuine Zender Cup side skirts. The paintwork overall is excellent, and whilst there were never any silver GTV Cups ever made... Who cares, it looks amazing.

Another upgrade is the stainless steel Wizard exhaust (Supplied and fitted by Autolusso). I went for the quad exit with the straight through centre section. Sounds incredible - Quiet and smooth under gentle driving, obscene when you boot it.

The timing belt, auxiliary belts, tensioners and water pump were all changed in August 2025 (under 1, 000 miles ago). The car was also serviced at the same time.

Other things;

- New Yuasa 5yr warranty battery (2 years old)

- New custom made floor mats

- Custom made leather hand brake handle cover

- Resealed the floorpan with Waxoyl.

- Refurbished bonnet sound proofing panel.

- Various new interior parts.

The GTV drives really well with no rattles or warning lights/ issues. Interior is in great condition, with only slight wear on the driver's seat bolster (easy repair, but not got around to it).

Outstanding repairs;

The CD player isn't wired up. Like most GTVs, the electric aerial doesn't work, so I've never bothered to replace the sound system. For the time I've had the car, I'd rather listen to the exhaust note. But it could be replaced fairly easily.

The air-conditioning needs re-gassing. When it's re-gassed, it works well, but I haven't got around to it this year.

The previous owner disconnected the factory fitted alarm. The immobiliser works, but the remote locking doesn't work. I've got all the components, but I've never felt the need to reinstate the alarm. I keep it in a garage, and don't mind locking on the key. Again, you could reinstate the systems if you prefer.

MOT was done on 15th April 2026 at 98, 221 miles.

Every time I've had it MOT'd, it's passed with no advisories (Please check the history online).

It's a really great example, drives great, looks great. Very useable modern classic. I would argue, one of the better all-round examples around.

I'll be sad to see it go, but I'm in the middle of a house renovation and will be for a few more years.
