Overview
Sitting – rather sweetly we might add – in the space between a grand tourer and an outright sports car, the Virage (Aston Martin's second model to use the name) takes the best of both worlds and seamlessly marries them together in a pairing as peerless as Lennon and McCartney. Or Ben and Jerry. Way more refined and dynamic than the original Virage from the late '80s the aluminium and composite second-gen shares the DB9's glorious 5.9-litre V12 engine developing 490bhp mated to a six-speed ZF automatic gearbox with flappy paddles alongside adaptive electronic dampers.
Equally at home blasting along B-roads as it is munching miles on the continent, the Virage remains an incredibly capable yet superlatively composed and comfortable car that just so happens to have a soundtrack to die for. With perfect 50:50 weight distribution and imbued with all of the modern accoutrements available for a car of this period, the Aston Martin Virage, compared to its predecessor, is on an entirely different level. It makes a lot of sense nowadays as a used purchase, with such limited production numbers meaning that it’s incredibly exclusive.
This rather unique early 2011 example is the only Virage Volante built for the UK in Marron Black, further adding to that aforementioned exclusivity, and comes with excellent main dealer and specialist service history. It's covered just 46K from new and only 5K under current ownership. Recently serviced and with a long, advisory-free MOT under its belt it looks to be a superb representation of an historically underappreciated but really rather brilliant convertible V12 Aston Martin.

Summary
A handsome, V12-equipped convertible in a unique colour combination would be on anyone's dream car list but the fact that this is an Aston Martin just adds that little extra dollop of desirability. The icing on the cake here is the impressive service and maintenance history and when combined with the car's lovely overall condition, it presents as a rather tasty treat indeed.
