2004 AUDI TT

Very clean, well cared for genuine unmolested TT. Owned by a lady doctor for the last 8 years and has also been carefully maintained in her tenure. It has had very light use in the time she has had the car. She is selling her beloved TT because she has just retired and has bought a Toyota Yaris hatchback so she can take her grandson out.

Clean black full leather heated seats.

The car drives well, gears are smooth and precise, and the car is free from knocks and bangs.

BOSE sound system.

Aircon is nice and cold.

OEM BBS RS II style split rim alloy wheels. These look great, and could do with being refurbished at some stage.

98,260 miles.

Last full service 4/2/26 with genuine parts from TPS (VW/Audi) including new fuel filter and spark plugs at 97,311 miles. Car has been driven less than 1000 miles since then.

Cambelt and water pump at 77,265 miles just after she got the car.

MOT until 30/11/26 - on the last MOT a CV boot was flagged. This was replaced soon after the MOT.

The car comes with a full book back, service book, and 2 genuine Audi remote locking key fobs, and receipts.

The TT has a stamped service book with 19 Services in total. I did two of the oil and filter changes and service items, and the final major service this year was done at the local garage. We always use genuine parts.

The TT has had 6 oil changes in the last 11,260 miles since late 2019. At the last service done at my local garage and we were laughing that the oil coming out is almost as clean as the new oil going in.

I fitted new Yuasa battery 12/6/2024 at 96,751 miles, and a replacement back box on the exhaust 3/7/2024.

The TT is in very good order for a 22 year old car, but, being 22 years old, it is not perfect.

For the sake of transparency here are the things that I would want to be made aware of if I was buying the car. These items have been taken into consideration whilst pricing the car.

The wheels will need refurbishing.

Two of the tyres slowly loose pressure.

The Multi function display pixels are failing, and the red light in the gauge indicators for the fuel and temp gauges works intermittently. Gauges themselves work fine. There are people who can repair these displays for reasonable cost. I have read this is a common fault with Audis.

4 years back the car started to show an intermittent engine check light. The codes are P0420 and P0171. She had the catalytic converter replaced with an aftermarket one, upper and lower O2 sensors replaced with Bosch units, and the vac system smoke tested and some small vac leaks fixed.

The check light and codes eventually come back on. Clearing the codes and the check engine light stays off for a time. The local mechanic and me suspect the car getting so few long high speed runs and does so few miles is a contributing factor.

The drivers window regulator wire snapped last winter. The local garage could not get a genuine from TPS as the part is no longer available. An aftermarket regulator was sourced and fitted. The electric window now works as it should. There is a little more wind noise around the back rubber seal for the window than there was when the original regulator was in the car.

In the recent really hot weather, I noticed that the roof lining is starting to sag a little at the back.

If you are looking for a well-presented and well-cared-for honest Audi TT then this is worth seeing.
