2018 ABARTH 124 SPIDER MULTIAIR

A very well cared-for example of the increasingly rare Abarth 124 Spider, finished in metallic grey with contrasting red detailing and a red/black leather interior.

Powered by Abarth's 170hp 1.4 MultiAir turbo, paired with the 6-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive, the 124 is a brilliant lightweight roadster with considerably more character and rarity than the usual alternatives. The Abarth specification includes a mechanical limited-slip differential, Bilstein sports dampers, Brembo front brakes and the fantastic Abarth exhaust.

The important maintenance has been done. The car has a full service history and has already had the cambelt and water pump replaced. It has also been ceramic coated and has been carefully looked after throughout my ownership.

The car presents extremely well inside and out and drives exactly as an Abarth 124 should. The combination of the turbo engine, manual gearbox, low weight and rear-wheel drive makes it a fantastic B-road and weekend car, while it's perfectly usable for longer trips.

One point to disclose: the infotainment screen has developed the known Mazda Connect screen delamination issue. The system itself remains fully operational, including Apple CarPlay and the reversing camera. I'm currently looking into having the screen repaired and have taken this into account in the asking price.

I'm selling simply because it's time for someone else to enjoy it. These are becoming increasingly uncommon, particularly good manual examples with sensible mileage and proper history.
