Description
For sale is my 2008 BMW E93 M3 Convertible, finished in Silverstone II Metallic with the 4.0-litre S65 V8 and 7-speed M-DCT gearbox.
Mileage: 110,400 miles
This is an exceptionally well-maintained and very well-presented example with a comprehensive history. The major E9x M3 jobs have already been taken care of, including rod bearings, throttle actuators and engine mounts.
I've also recently spent a considerable amount improving the car, including KW HAS height-adjustable springs, new 359/ZCP-style 19" wheels,a brand-new set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres and rear LCI tail lights (OE tail lights to come with the car).
Major maintenance:
Rod bearings replaced at 101,865 miles
Engine mounts replaced at the same time
Both throttle actuators replaced at 102,454 miles and supplied with lifetime guarantee
Roof pump replaced
Rear subframe refurbished and bushes replaced
Oil and filter service at 106,135 miles and Fresh oil and filter service September 2026 at approximately 110,400 miles- this will be done on 24/9/26
Differential oil changed at approximately 106k
Spark plugs and coolant replaced at approximately 102k
Recent BMW specialist inspection- RD Motorsport Aug 2026
Fresh oil and filter service September 2026 at approximately 110,400 miles- this will be done on 24/9/26 at RD Motorsport
MOT until February 2027 – last five MOTs passed with no advisories
There is an extensive folder of invoices and supporting history with the car, including evidence of the important preventative maintenance.
Recent upgrades:
KW HAS height-adjustable spring kit, retaining the factory EDC- 4 wheel alignment to be done on 24/9/26 at RD motorsport
New 19" 359/ZCP-style wheels
New Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres – 255/35/19 front and 275/35/19 rear
F80 M-style flat-bottom steering wheel
GTS DCT gearbox software
ModStock 1.75 exhaust/back-box modification
LED halo/DRL upgrade
The result is a car that still feels very OEM but looks and sounds considerably better.
Factory specification
The car was highly specified when new, with an original list price of approximately £70,000, including around £8,800 of factory options.
Specification includes:
M-DCT Drivelogic
Electronic Damper Control (EDC)
19" wheel option
Professional HiFi/DSP
Comfort Access
Heated seats
High Gloss Shadow Line
PDC
Through-load system
Wind deflector
USB/audio interface
History & condition
Registered 29 April 2008 and originally supplied as a BMW demonstrator.
Only five owners from new, with one previous owner keeping the car for approximately 15 years.
The car is in excellent condition for its age and mileage and has clearly been looked after. The Silverstone II paintwork presents beautifully and the new 359-style wheels and PS4S tyres have really transformed its appearance.
It comes with two keys, extensive service history/invoices and the wind deflector.
This isn't being presented as a low-mileage garage queen – it's a properly maintained M3 that has been used, cared for and had the expensive jobs dealt with.
Reason for sale
I've only owned the M3 for around four months and had every intention of keeping it, hence spending money on the KW HAS suspension, new wheels and Michelin PS4S tyres.
However, I've since found the 996-generation Porsche 911 I've always wanted, so I've decided to make the change.
The short ownership is therefore simply down to an unexpected opportunity to buy my dream car rather than anything to do with the M3.

Genuine enquiries welcome. I'm happy to talk through the history and maintenance in detail with any serious buyer.
