2015 Audi

This TT ticks a lot of boxes for anyone after a good looking, well sorted convertible that's genuinely enjoyable to drive. The angular front end, black slatted grille with chrome surrounds and honeycomb vents give it a face that's often compared to a scaled down R8.

Power comes from the 2.0 TFSI producing 236bhp, taking it from 0 to 60 in 5.4 seconds. That's sent through the quattro four wheel drive system and the S tronic automatic gearbox, so you get quick, smooth changes along with the added confidence of four wheel drive when the weather turns. It's a nimble thing on the road too, sporty without being twitchy.

Inside you get the small flat bottom leather steering wheel and Audi's digital cockpit, still one of the clearer displays around even by today's standards. The part leather part Alcantara sports seats come with an S stitched into the headrests. You're also getting heated seats, cruise control, lane departure and a choice of drive modes, plus a Bang and Olufsen sound system.

A few other details worth mentioning include a twin exit exhaust with a decent note, an active rear spoiler and the usual S Line styling upgrades over a standard TT throughout.

All in, it's a car that's easy to live with day to day but has enough going on to keep things interesting when you want it to.
