2012 BMW 1 SERIES

For sale is my highly specified, 5-door BMW 125i M Sport Hatchback. It is a 2.0L petrol turbo engine paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and sought after rear wheel drive. While the chassis has covered 104,600 miles, the standout feature of this car is a brand-new, genuine engine supplied directly by BMW and professionally installed at the 98k mile mark following a timing chain failure. The new engine has covered just 6k miles. This removes the primary mechanical risk associated with this generation of BMWs.

Freshly renewed MOT in March 2026 with no major issues. Service History: Regularly serviced throughout its life. Please note that the most recent services were completed by my local garage without the BMW online diagnostic link, so they are not logged on the iDrive screen. However, I have a comprehensive folder of physical paper receipts, invoices, and stamps confirming its maintenance timeline, alongside invoice for the BMW sourced engine replacement.

Bodywork: Generally very good considering its age, no major dents nor issues, a few chips in the paint

Alloy Wheels: The M Sport alloys show some minor curbing/scuffs reflective of the car's age.

Headlight Coded: The adaptive/adjustable beam motor on one headlight experienced a common glitch. To resolve it safely and legally, the beam has been professionally coded to remain locked in the standard, correct fixed position. It functions perfectly, illuminates the road flawlessly, and passed its recent MOT alignment test in March 2026 — it simply no longer bends around corners.

Sale Terms: I am flying out on holiday on 11th October, so I am looking for a straightforward transaction before then. Strictly no group viewings or canvasers.
