2017 ASTON MARTIN DB11

Introduced as the opening chapter of a new era for Aston Martin, the DB11 Launch Edition brought together the marques newly developed 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 with a particularly generous specification. This 2017 example is presented in satin black, achieved through a full-body wrap, with its original silver paintwork preserved beneath.

The satin finish suits the DB11s shape remarkably well, bringing greater definition to its long bonnet, floating roofline and sculpted rear bodywork. Gloss black exterior detailing and 20-inch 10-spoke directional diamond-turned wheels complete the darker appearance, while the V12 wing badges provide a subtle indication of what sits beneath the bonnet.

The interior is finished in Dark Knight Caithness leatherAston Martins deep navy hidewhich offers considerably more character than a conventional black cabin. Nexus quilting, Celestial perforation and brogue detailing showcase the level of craftsmanship found in these early Launch Edition cars, with contrast stitching and embroidered Aston Martin wings completing the seats. Piano Black inlays and the Satin Silver Jewellery Pack provide a restrained contrast throughout the cabin.

Its specification includes heated and ventilated electric front seats with memory, Bang & Olufsen BeoSound audio, satellite navigation, a 360-degree camera system, front and rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, Auto Park Assist, keyless entry and dual-zone climate control.

The car has been maintained exclusively within the Aston Martin main-dealer network and is accompanied by a full Aston Martin service history. Most recently, it has been serviced by Aston Martin Tunbridge Wells, giving its next owner the reassurance of both continuous manufacturer maintenance and a freshly completed service.

A thoughtfully specified Launch Edition with an unusual Dark Knight interior, strong provenance and the added choice of enjoying its satin-black appearance or returning it to the original silver paintwork beneath.
