Description
Offered for sale is this 2009 Nissan GT-R Premium Edition, finished in Titanium/Gunmetal Grey and sourced directly from Japanese auction.
This is an early CBA-R35, powered by Nissan's legendary hand-built 3.8-litre VR38DETT twin-turbo V6, producing 485PS from the factory and driving all four wheels through the six-speed GR6 dual-clutch transmission and ATTESA E-TS AWD system.
What makes this particular car interesting is its Japanese provenance. It was inspected through USS Nagoya's Prime Corner and received a Grade 4 auction rating. The auction inspection records no replacement-panel or major structural-damage markings, giving the next owner considerably more information about its background than is available with many 2009 R35s.
The car has covered 16,825 km, approximately 10,455 miles.
For anyone who knows R35s, the appeal of the early cars needs little explanation. This was the GT-R that changed the performance-car landscape: twin-turbo V6, sophisticated all-wheel drive, rear-mounted transaxle, Bilstein electronically adjustable DampTronic suspension and enormous Brembo brakes, wrapped in one of the most recognisable Japanese performance cars of the modern era.
Factory specification includes:
3.8-litre VR38DETT twin-turbo V6
Six-speed GR6 dual-clutch transmission
ATTESA E-TS all-wheel drive
Bilstein DampTronic adjustable suspension
Six-piston front / four-piston rear Brembo brakes
20-inch forged alloy wheels
Half-leather electrically adjustable seats
BOSE premium audio
Factory navigation
Reversing camera
Automatic climate control
Four-seat configuration
Unlike many R35s now on the market, the attraction here is not a huge modification list. It is an opportunity to buy a genuine Japanese-market early GT-R with documented auction provenance, presented much closer to the specification in which Nissan originally engineered it.
The Japanese auction inspector recorded some age-related cosmetic items, including wheel marks, minor scratches, stone chips and lifting/separation to the dashboard. These are disclosed rather than hidden, and prospective buyers are welcome to review the original Japanese auction documentation.
Fast shipping expedited by our people on the ground in Amagasaki Japan.
For a buyer looking for an early R35 to enjoy, improve or keep as an increasingly significant piece of Japanese performance-car history, this is a very interesting example.
Serious enquiries welcome. Full Japanese auction documentation and additional photographs available.
