2002 PORSCHE 911

First registered 10 May 2002. Carrera 2 with the six-speed manual gearbox, finished in dark metallic blue with full black leather. It's a non-sunroof car.

The car was supplied new by AFN Guildford, who serviced it until 2013. Porsche specialists have looked after it since then, and the history file shows thirteen services. Before I bought it, the car had a full, documented engine rebuild carried out by Porsche and engineering specialists, and both air-con condensers were replaced and the system recharged at the same time.

Factory specification includes black leather on the dashboard and door panels as well as the seats, 18" Turbo-look wheels, Bose upgraded sound.

Since buying it I have fitted:

Four new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres

997 sports seats (the original seats come with the car and are in very good condition)

Switchable Valvetronic sports exhaust silencer set

A short shift kit

New engine mounts

Centre console delete for extra legroom

Steering wheel extender

Bluetooth adapter on the original head unit

It drives very well: it feels tight and free of rattles and pulls strongly. It works as well for everyday driving as it does for a long trip.

MOT until 6 April 2027. 2 keys.

Reason for sale: I had no plans to sell this car, but a unicorn C4S with a 3.9-litre engine and a 2WD conversion came up and I bought it. I don't need to sell, and good 996s are rising in value, so I'm happy to keep it if the right offer doesn't come.
