1999 SUBARU IMPREZA

Low mileage 1999 JDM Impreza STI Wagon (with type RA DCCD) for sale.

I got it in 2017 from Reedley car company (Burnley) who imported it and were the first UK owner.

The car is probably one of a kind (any other STI wagons with a DCCD fitted?) and is completely standard (except the DCCD) including the exhaust so it's pretty quiet for a Scooby.

Mechanically it is in very good condition and still goes like rocket, I have spent 1000s getting her into a good shape, but she is showing her age in some respects (slow electric windows, wear on the seats).

All major work done by Dan at Surrey Subaru Specialists (Camberley) including fitting the Driver Controlled Central Diff (DCCD) TY754VB1EA which comes from late 99 V6 Type RA.

Note the speedo is in km/h and all mileage is km (ignore what MOT history says). It's never been changed to miles. And the mileage is complicated because of the fitting of the DCCD! The engine mileage is around 140,000km but the odometer says 80,000km because it's from the RA (along with the gearbox).

Other points to note:

* It has a Thatcham alarm fitted by KitsNBits (Autowatch 457i Full CAT 1 alarm)

* Very slight power steering fluid

* Changing up to 4th Gear can grind (if you don't double de-clutch)

* Wing mirrors don't retract

* Slight leak with offside rear light fitting (so doesn't have the hardboard spare wheel cover in the boot)

* I have all the import documents and services history etc

* battery isolator switch fitted
