2016 CATERHAM SUPER SEVEN

A low-mileage, completely standard Caterham Seven 620S in the larger SV chassis, finished in Gravity Black with the factory red and matt-black triple-stripe decal pack.

The 620S combines Caterham’s 310bhp supercharged 2.0-litre Ford Duratec with the more road-friendly S specification: a five-speed manual gearbox, sports suspension, full windscreen and weather equipment. Caterham describes the 620 as the fastest production road car it has ever built, and with approximately 610kg to move, the performance is genuinely extraordinary.

This example has covered approximately 7,100 miles and has had three owners from new. It remains in standard factory specification and produces the original 310bhp.

The car has recently received specialist attention from HWM Caterham in Walton. This included the latest 620 cooling update, a new lambda sensor, a new inlet gasket and throttle-position mapping/calibration. The work has improved its driveability and consistency in both hot and cooler conditions.

These are reliability and driveability updates rather than performance modifications: the car remains completely standard and at its original factory power.

The car comes with its service book and supporting history file. It was serviced in December 2025 immediately before I bought it and was MOT tested at the same time. The recent HWM work is fully documented, and the MOT is valid until December 2026.

I bought the car intending to keep it, but a long-held dream car has unexpectedly become available, hence the reluctant sale.

This is a very well-specified, low-mileage example of one of the most extreme road-going Caterhams, with the additional room and usability of the SV chassis and S specification.
