I have owned since December 2022

I have carried out all the mods to this car as i purchased it standard.

I maintain is religiously and it gets oil changes even when not needed as its hardly used.

Its been launched 3 times in my ownership.

In the last 2500 miles its had its 3rd haldex oil change and 2nd DSG oil change (since me owning it)

I have took it to the nurburgring in 2025 where it performed amazingly with no problems on a smaller turbo setup.

I have also taken it to nurburgring this year which highlighted 2 issues that have now been resolved; revised the actuator to the latest OEM revision item NOT a cheap copy (£360) and a boost pipe split which has now been replaced with a stronger samco item.

Powerwise its running 2.1 bar on the high boost map which on a TTV5 is around 520 bhp.

Everything works as it should.

General maintenance:

New rear trailing arms

New OEM Haldex pump

New Bushes all round

New front left wheel bearing (didn't need doing i just replaced it as my brake clearance is tight)

Both ball joints

New Revised water pump (done before i purchased vehicle)

New revised actuator (the one which doesn't fail)

New OEM lambda 1

This is not your usual ragged out pops and bangs abused Golf R that's run low on dirty oil and launched every 5 minutes, this is a fast road car that can be used as a daily then driven into Europe to race around the ring.

It soaks up all the imperfections in the road with the suspension set to normal, one click of a button and the car is stiff ready to go around a track.

Negatives:

cosmetic defects are all that's wrong with the car, stone chips, various age related marks, nothing major but its not 10/10.

Front wheel arch liners rubbed through when it use to be lowered

The lipo4 battery is a odd shape so doesn't use the oem clamp (you can take the original AGM battery which clamps like stock)

The car will come with 2 new front conti 7 tyres

Almost new front MTEC Brake discs

Almost new EBC yellow stuff brake pads

The car needs NOTHING, put petrol in and drive it.
