1980 MG B

MOT to 08/ 27....

The car with a full chronological history from day one with an impressive folder of receipts , MOT's etc etc ...

This is a very presentable , well maintained car and looks great with the Minilite style wheels ..

Unrestored , the bodywork is solid with a few minor cosmetic blemishes but nothing serious.... The underneath is clean and tidy and well undersealed . The engine bay area is very presentable ...

The last owner was a trained mechanic and cared for this car for 6 years ...

During his tenure he carried out the following over and above regular maintenance :

Completely overhauling seats with new foams, diaphragms and red piping covers....

Fitting electronic ignition....

Renewing thermostat and housing....

Replacing steel rocker cover with MG aluminium cover....

Stripping and cleaning carburettors.,.

Many other items renewed of which he kept a comprehensive record...

The MGB drives superb with a wonderful rasp from the B series engine which holds over 50psi of oil pressure when warm. The engine itself is sweet, no obtuse knocks or rattles. The overdrive which can be engaged in 3rd or 4th gear slips in and out seamlessly.

This is a great starter classic , with easily obtainable parts supply and easily maintained ..

I can arrange delivery and will take another classic in part exchange..
