This 2012 Porsche 997.2 Carrera 4 GTS Cabriolet is a very special car, indeed. Finished in timeless Platinum Silver Metallic, it looks superb with its 19-inch centre-lock RS Spyder wheels, widerear arches and distinctive SportDesign front end.

Inside, the GTS treatment continues with a black interior featuring extensive Alcantara, including the Sports seat centres, steering wheel, gear selector and handbrake.

The specification includes PCM 3.0 with satellite navigation and Bluetooth phone connectivity, Sport Chrono (which adds the distinctive chronometer atop the dashboard together with the all-important Sport and Sport Plus driving modes) PDK with paddle shifters, heated Sports seats with Porsche crests embossed into the headrests, Bose sound system, rear Park Assist with reversing camera, cruise control, PASM, switchable Sports Exhaust, limited-slip differential, xenon headlamps and a Tracker.

The GTS was introduced towards the end of 997 production and represented the ultimate road-going Carrera of the generation. Its naturally aspirated 3.8-litre flat-six produces 408hp - 23hp more than the Carrera S – thanks to the X51 PowerKit, and is accompanied by a wonderfully evocative switchable Porsche Sports Exhaust. A limited-slip differential and PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) further enhance the chassis.

As a Carrera 4 GTS Cabriolet, this Porsche brings together some of the most desirable features of the 997 generation: the wider Carrera 4 body, four-wheel drive, the more powerful 408hp naturally aspirated engine and the ability to enjoy that fabulous flat-six with the roof down.

This Porsche 911 has an excellent service history and has just been serviced, so it won't need another service for two years. It has also recently benefited from new rear lights, while a new convertible hood was fitted last year.
